Welcome to DentLink. We are committed to providing a safe and effective experience for all users. Please read these terms of use carefully: by using the app, you agree to be bound by them.

1 About the app

DentLink is a community service app that connects dental students with real patients who need dental treatment, making it easier to complete clinical requirements in an organised, safe way and under academic supervision. Our main focus is the dental student and everything that makes their work easier. We aim to reduce the effort students spend searching for suitable cases and to provide a professional experience that benefits both students and patients.

2 How the app works

The app is a digital system that connects dental students with real patients who need treatment, through a single platform that makes searching for clinical cases, communicating and coordinating about them organised and efficient.

The system places great importance on privacy and data confidentiality. Patient information is kept fully confidential, and a patient's personal details are disclosed only to the student whose request to take on and treat the case has been accepted. This balances educational opportunities for students with the protection of patients' privacy.

Students can browse the clinical cases available in the app and view the medical details that may be shown without buying a plan first. To book a case, the student must buy one of the available plans, which include a set of benefits and credits for booking requests.

Once payment is complete, the student can send a booking request for a suitable case, stating the times when they are free to treat the patient.

The support team then contacts the patient and offers the times the student chose. If the patient accepts at least one of the proposed times, the request is approved and the patient's details and contact information are shown only to the student who made the request.

Students must check their times before sending a request, because a booking request cannot be withdrawn once sent. If the patient refuses all of the proposed times, the student is compensated for the case and the credit used is returned; otherwise there is no compensation.

3 Who the app is for

Dental students looking for real clinical cases that allow them to complete the requirements of their academic courses and practical training. Many of them struggle to find suitable patients in time, which makes this app an effective way to simplify the search and organisation.

4 Use by minors

Individuals under 18 may not use the app. The system is limited to adult users who can legally provide their data and take responsibility for handling clinical cases. By registering, the user confirms that they are 18 or older.

If an account is found to belong to an underage user, the system administration may take the necessary measures, including suspending or deleting the account, to protect users and to comply with the applicable legal and ethical standards.
